My govt’ll punish corrupt officials-Buhari

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Tuesday said any public official who betrayed the trust of Nigerians and illegally enriched himself under his administration would be made to face the full wrath of the law.

He promised Nigerians that there would be no hiding place for corrupt elected officials, including governors and all other government officials in his administration.

Buhari gave the assurance at the presidential rally held at the Pantami International Stadium, Gombe.

Late Doctor Knew Diplomat Had Ebola- River State Govt.

Boko Haram: Gwoza Now Islamic Caliphate.

 The LEADER of the terrorist Islamic sect, Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, has declared Gwoza town in Borno State that was seized by his men last Thursday as an Islamic caliphate.

Abubakar Shekau announced the declaration that Gwoza had become an Islamic caliphate in a video obtained by the Agence France-Press on Sunday.

The terrorist also vowed that his group would not leave the town.

“Thanks be to Allah who gave victory to our brethren in the town of Gwoza and made it part of the Islamic caliphate. By the grace of Allah, we will not leave the town. We have come to stay,” Shekau said in the 52-minute video.

 What is Ebola?

The Ebola virus causes viral hemorrhagic fever, which according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, refers to a group of viruses that affect multiple organ systems in the body and are often accompanied by bleeding.

WHO: Ebola Crisis is underestimated.

The magnitude of the Ebola crisis in West Africa is "vastly" underestimated, the World Health Organization warned this week, as the death toll steadily climbed.

Ebola has infected at least 1,975 people in Nigeria, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone since the outbreak began this year.

Of the victims, 1,069 have died, according to the WHO. It said the number reflects the count as of Monday.
